We often tell stories about our work in other countries but we can't forget, there is need right here in the U.S. This is a profile of Grundy County in East Tennessee. The third poorest county in Tennessee. We recently partnered with Mountain T.O.P. who is an interdenominational, non-profit Christian ministry seeking to alleviate rural poverty in eight counties in the state of Tennessee. Through a fall festival put on by Mountain T.O.P. we were able to distribute over 400 pairs of shoes in that community.
