Pakistan aid workers killed over polio programme

Seven charity workers have been shot dead in north-west Pakistan. Six of the victims were women, most of whom are believed to have been working as teachers. The seven Pakistani nationals were killed when their vehicle came under gunfire near a centre run by a Pakistani charity specialising in maternal health.
