Every year on New Year's Day, The Gosport and Fareham Inshore Rescue Service organise a Charity Swim or dip in the Solent to raise funds for this very vital service. This year, the weather was extremely sunny, but colder than last year, although the temperature did not detract the many sponsored swimmers who braved the elements.
