Poverty becoming critical issue in Italy

Poverty in Italy is becoming a critical issue. More than half the children living in absolute poverty in Italy are in the south of the country. Now the charity group, Save the Children Fund, is urging the government to put poverty reduction strategies at the center of public investment.
