A montage video detailing Matthew Morris' story. He started with a simple idea, and it grew into something he never imagined! He wanted to help needy children from our local Angel Tree for Christmas. He started with one name. He raised over $1800 this Christmas. To date, he bought Christmas wishes for 10 Angel Tree +6 children and took a truckload of generic toys for other children to our local Salvation Army.
He volunteered at the Salvation Army and was able to meet some of the families he is helping in person.
He made the local paper twice in one week and his story appeared on two major news networks http://www.cbsatlanta.com/story/20388887/griffin-student-raises-money-to-buy-christmas-gifts-for-kids-in-need
and
http://www.myfoxatlanta.com/video?clipId=8087495&autostart=true He had no idea when he started this auction on his personal Facebook page that it would grow into something like this!
He now co-admins a group of over 2,000 members on Facebook, and he is starting his next project.
